When somewhere in Toronto, the Canadian Geese found their bivouac, they start to tell bedtime stories: "I hope you enjoyed your day, it’s bedtime now. - Toronto, that’s tonight’s stop, I actually grew up not far from here." The wise veteran goose Gandhi, voiced by artist Michael Snow, tells a gosling about his chlidhood, trips around the world and a dream inducing tale about flying.
Antoni Wojtyra presents Hush My Dear, a montage of sound and images, which grapples the complex behaviour in and around global national and ethnic groups. The relation of urban and natural space, the structure of the individual to the group, and the power of Art to have a use, play a key in Wojtyra’s work.
The 7" vinyl Hush My Dear, which borrows the exhibition’s title, will be played live on November 28, 12.30 pm over Radio Arthur and defines the real opening of the exhibition at Wiesenschanzweg 36 in Basel. The vinyl, available during the opening, will be complemented by photographs.

Antoni Wojtyra (b. 1977) is a Polish/Canadian artist living in Vancouver. He uses collaboration, painting, photography, artist books, and exhibitions to discuss the multifarious topics surrounding the soul.
